Run by Mark Brown and Kate Beveridge, Purple Pear Farm Education Centre and Biodynamic farm offers learning opportunities based on 20+ years of experience in teaching, farming, sustainability, permaculture, biodynamics and community building.
We run a productive 14-acre farm on the outskirts of Maitland. At Purple Pear Farm, our life revolves around food – growing, selling, preparing, preserving and eating it.
Tours and Pricing: We offer farm tours for groups of 10 or more people @ $25 per person (ex GST) and would appreciate at least 1 weeks notice for all booking requests.

Farm Activities: Walk around the farm garden, Touring the property with a farmer, Chat to a farmer to learn about farming, Supervised pat a pony, cow etc with a farmer, Mums and Bubs Tour. Discuss Permaculture, Biodynamics and Mandala Market Gardens as well as Community Supported Agriculture and sustainable small farms.
