Cardiff Alpacas, Harwood NSW
We are a working alpaca farm and established cottage industry. The majority of our alpacas are pure white and raised solely for their fleece.
We process the fleece and manufacture products from it right here on the property. We have a small farm shop where visitors can inspect and buy our products, which include knitted and crocheted goods, pillows, cushions, pet beds, quilts, soft toys and yarn. We also have for sale a range of gourmet jams, jellies and chutneys made from locally-sourced ingredients.
On our farm we also grow sugar cane and soy beans and raise llamas.
Our alpacas and llamas are all visitor-friendly and can be hand-fed by visitors.
We provide Devonshire teas and/or lunches for our visitors as part of every tour.
Farm Activities: We provide an overall farm/cottage industry tour that includes morning or afternoon tea or lunch. Tea tours take 1-2 hours. Lunch tours take 2-3 hours. Our charges are $7.50 per person for tea tours and $15.00 per person for lunch tours.
