Are you dreaming of standing in a paddock and being surrounded by adorable llamas and alpacas? Then herd up your friends and family and visit us at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm. Our tours are truly memorable! The cute faces and quirky personalities of our alpacas and llamas will have you smiling and laughing the whole time. We offer you the opportunity to hand feed the alpacas and llamas, feel the texture of the wool and even take one of our halter trained males on a short trek. Our experienced tour guides will be there to answer any of your questions as you learn about alpaca farming in Australia. If your kids are keen to work with animals when they are older, we also offer a ‘Little Farmer’ experience! The kids follow a farmer as they do their rounds and learn how to take care of alpacas. Our tours provide you with the opportunity to experience the journey from paddock to finished product, as we hand dye luxurious alpaca fibre and yarn onsite. Our popular crafting workshops bring together the love of alpacas, fibre and creativity.

Our new visitor’s centre is the perfect rest stop after your tour. You can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee while you gaze out on our gorgeous herd grazing in the paddocks. The Blackwattle Shop is also stocked with all your crafting and gift needs.
